Representative Matters
Mohammed Al Ruqaishi Law Firm, as required, represents your company regarding recovery matters either in arbitration or before the Omani courts. If court proceedings are involved, our law firm will undertake the following actions:
- Preparing a Power of Attorney;
- Issuing legal notices before commencing legal action (e.g., to debtors of the company, etc.);
- Developing statements of claim or defense and relevant exhibits;
- Submitting statements of claim or defense to the necessary forum;
- Attending court hearings;
- Obtaining judgments both at the first instance and on appeal;
- Implementing enforcement procedures, as necessary.

- Our fees are RO 75 plus VAT.
- Payment of 100% upfront is required before issuing a legal notice, which will be done via email only.

At Appeal Court:
- Claim Amount (OMR): 5,000 – 49,000 | Percentage (%): 4%
- Claim Amount (OMR): 50,000 – 149,000 | Percentage (%): 3.5%
- Claim Amount (OMR): 150,000 – 249,000 | Percentage (%): 3%
- Claim Amount (OMR): 250,000 and above | Percentage (%): 2.5%
At Supreme Court:
- Claim Amount (OMR): 5,000 – 49,000 | Percentage (%): 2%
- Claim Amount (OMR): 50,000 – 149,000 | Percentage (%): 1.75%
- Claim Amount (OMR): 150,000 – 249,000 | Percentage (%): 1.5%
- Claim Amount (OMR): 250,000 and above | Percentage (%): 1.25%
Additional Notes:
- 100% upfront payment is required.
- All fees are exclusive of VAT.
- Fees are stated in Omani Rials (OMR).
Additional Costs:
The Firm will charge for all third-party expenses at actual cost. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Official disbursements such as government fees, court fees, and stamp charges, if any, shall be paid by you in advance.
- Translations from English to Arabic or vice versa will be charged separately at OMR 15 per page.
- If travel is required outside of Muscat, an additional travel expense will be incurred.
- Any other specific disbursement such as courier charges, international telephone calls, faxes, etc., will be charged at cost.
All the above rates are exclusive of disbursements.
