The team of Law Firm Trpenoski consists of the head of the firm, four members of the executive board – partner attorneys at law, associate attorneys at law, and apprentices at law. Each member of the executive board holds specialization in distinct areas of law such as civil law and procedure, criminal law and procedure, company law, administrative law, etc., while the associate attorneys practice their preferred areas of law under the guidance of partner attorneys.

Having been practiced debt collection since its inception in 1992, the firm has developed a significant expertise in this area. Its clientele spans across individuals to small-, mid-, and large-sized companies, banks, and institutions. The law firm operates with a strong network of public notaries, executors, and other relevant collaborators on the basis of trust and professional competency.

The Debt Collection Process

1. The process begins with an initial interview to understand the client's needs and review the crucial documentation. If the documents are in order, the procedure commences either in front of the primary court or the public notary, depending on the nature of the documentation.
2. Procedure before a competent court kicks off by filing a lawsuit and is henceforth considered litigation. Depending upon the debt amount, mandatory mediation may be required prior to lawsuit submission. Upon conclusion of litigation and after a legally prescribed period, the judgement becomes valid and enforceable.
3. Procedure in front of a public notary begins by submitting a proposal for a payment order. No mandatory mediation is required, irrespective of the debt amount. The debtor may object to the order, after which the procedure is forwarded to the competent court. If no objections are raised, the order becomes valid and enforceable after a legally prescribed period.
4. The process in both scenarios is handled by a competent executor who begins the debt execution. There is a 5-year timeframe to submit the execution request post the judgement/payment order becoming valid and enforceable.
5. Law Firm Trpenoski participates actively in the execution process, working alongside executors to locate the debtor's property, arrange for its sale, and supervise the debt retribution. The execution process is not to exceed 10 years post the submission of the request for execution.
