The Law firm Tos & partner evolved from the independent legal practice of our founder, Andrej Tos, who decided to leverage his expertise and experience to serve clients through a law firm in 2000. Our work is grounded in expertise, efficiency, and professional ethics. We offer comprehensive legal counselling and represent clients in courts of law and administrative bodies.

Our primary areas of practice include:

• Civil Law: We provide legal advice in the fields of law of obligations, property law, land registry law, inheritance law, and family law. We draft all types of civil contracts and other private documents, including representation in front of court in forced execution processes and all other civil processes.
• Commercial Law: We assist our clients in setting up companies of all legal and organisational forms, offer advice in articles of association, as well as in reconstitutions and alterations to equity. We draft and examine all types of commercial contracts, including sale of receivables and lodging claims in  insolvency proceedings.
• Corporate Law: Our services include counselling regarding the establishment, reconstitution, and liquidation of companies, including the preparation and presiding over of general meetings, and the coordination of the required procedures with the register of companies.
• Real Estate Law: We offer legal counsel for the sales and acquisitions of real estate. Our comprehensive service in this area includes verification of the actual and legal status of the real estate in the land register, conducting negotiations, preparing contracts, handling procedures related to the tax payable and the authentication of the contract, and arranging land registration.
• Secured Claims: We prepare contracts and agreements, court proposals intended to secure creditors’ claims and, when necessary, arrange the entry of claims in the respective registers.  
• Tax Law:  We advise our clients in assessing tax risks of individual transactions and represent them in administrative proceedings before competent administrative and judicial authorities. Attorney Andrej Tos has an M.Sc. in tax law, giving the office both knowledge and the practical experience in this area.
• Bankruptcy Law: Attorney Andrej Tos, a holder of a bankruptcy manager’s licence, has extensive experience in managing some of the largest judicial liquidations in Slovenia, including bankruptcies of banks and other financial institutions. We provide legal advice to our clients in lodging claims and protect their interests in insolvency proceedings.
• Commercial Criminal Law: Due to the increasing abuse of rights deriving from commercial law, counselling in the field of commercial criminal offences has become an indispensable part of our legal services available to business entities.

Our process of debt recovery includes review of the recevied documents, ammendments if necesssary, interview with the client if necessary, investigation of property of debtor in case, remainder proces, communication with debtor, if necessary, calculation of interests of delay, filling proposal for forced execution, regular monitoring of sucess of forced execution, filling additional means of forced execution if necessary, regular report to client, regular transfer of recovery funds and closing the execution process. In case that the debt is disputable we represent the creditor in front of all levels of court presenting the case with argumentation. We strive that our client recevies the highest amout of recovery in shortest time as possible. In our process we use electonical means and evolved programs for debt recovery.
