The approach we adopt is to firstly prompt the debtors by sending out demand letters for the payment of the outstanding debt. The demand sets strict timelines within which the debtor is expected to comply with the terms of the demand. At the lapse of the timelines, we shall institute recovery proceedings in a Court of law.   Should the debtor respond to our letter, subject to your approval, parties may explore a payment plan and agree on the terms of engagement as highlighted during our meeting. We shall at each and every step supervise the progress to ensure that the debtor is bound by his/her undertaking.   The turnaround time will depend on among other issues the response and/or conduct of the debtor(s) and whether the matter proceeds to Court. The Court processes as already communicated in most cases could drag depending on whether the debtor defends the suit or not. Further, the process is always subject to the Court’s diary. Even so, we endeavour to hasten the process to protect the interest of our clients.
