Our debt recovery methods in the amicable phase include researching debtor data, making phone calls, sending notification letters and e-mails, paying on-site visits, reviewing assets, and establishing payment plans. The fee for handling a case thru amicable debt collection proceedings is 7% of the amount that is recovered from the debtor.
If the debtor is unresponsive, is contesting the debt or is just not willing to pay we inform about the costs and chances of debt recovery thru legal action.
The costs of a legal action are made of:
- Court tax;
- Lawyer fee for the legal proceedings;
- Sworn translation costs of the documents into Romanian language.
In case after a judgment is obtained the debtor is not willingly paying the debt plus the legal action costs a judicial enforcement case can be started.
The costs for judicial enforcement are made of:
- Judicial enforcer fee: it is paid in advance and can be up to 10% of the debt;
- Lawyer fee for the judicial enforcement proceedings: EUR 100 minimum fee.
The legal action costs and the judicial enforcement cost are costs that the debtor will be charged with and are also recoverable through the legal proceedings.
The exact amount of the costs for the legal debt recovery proceedings are given on a case by case basis after the case documents are analysed.
